Could I Have A Betta With These?

Would I be able to put a male betta in my 35 gallon with:

cardinal tetras
dwarf gourami
bronze cory's
platies

Would it be alright or should I leave him out?

i'd leave him out
dwarf gouramis and bettas have a history of fighting

the gouramis and betta are likely to fight as they are both fairly agressive. The tetras can nip the fins of the betta, best to keep a male betta on his own really.

ok i'm just going to stick the betta in my 5 gallon once I have the 35 gallon up and going. I've fallen in love with the crowntail bettas.
