At the moment I have 2 yellow lab fry in a breeder trap in the main tank. They are about 3 weeks old and just over 1/2" long. I will be stripping another female next week, and wanted to move the other fry out. I have a 10 Gallon tropical community with small fish (e.g. Hatchets, neons and cories). It is a heavily planted tank with a PH of 7.8. This is higher than the water currently in my Malawi tank, as bogwood lowered it. It is around 7.6 .

Would my fry be ok in my other tank to grow on until larger, or would my fish make a meal of them.

The labs will turn into a serious point of stress for the neons even if they can't actually eat them.
