Hey,

I have a 29 gallon tank and here is my stocking plan (it alters all the time):

6 Neon Tetra,
8 Cherry Barbs,
3 Guppies,
6 Harlequin Rasbora,
6 Corys (not decided which yet).

And I was wondering if I could fit any khuli loaches in there, and if so how many??

Thanks, Jack

I think most people are going to say no, but I'd say they'd be okay. Most of your fish are middle-upper region fish. I have a 29-gallon with 8 cories and there's plenty of room for them at the bottom. I'd say you could get 2. :)

Edit: You should get some panda corys! They're smaller than some of the other corys like aeneus. They all stick together and do cute little dances and swim along the sides of the tank. I reccomend them. :D

Although your stocking seams near the "full" end of the scale I would agree with chibi. They dont take up much of the bio load and will scavenge bits of food your other fish miss. They are great fish to have I have 3 and im looking for 3 more, as your stocking is on the high side I would get 3. But if you had room the more the better.

iv always read that pandas stick together but my 4 never do..

can i make you question your stocking again lol , how about cardinal tetras instead of neons, i had neons but now have cardinals , the cardinals are much nicer..

firstly, stick with the neons but you could have more
i would mabey just get 6 cherry barbs but 8 should be fine
3 guppies is too little imo i think 3 females and 1 male is the min
harlequins r fine
with the cories i would recommed bronze and albino as they r the same and will school.
you can keep kulhi loaches yes, i have three that get on fine, i would say that it is a must to get lots of hiding spaces though as you willl sometimes only see them once evry two weeks
