In my 30L tank, I only have a stocking of a male betta and 6 endlers.
I was wondering whether adding 6 ember tetras would be okay?
I understand that my betta may attack them, but he's incredibly dosile. My main concern was whether the tank would be able to cope with 6 more fish?
Thank you! :good:

Stocking wise it would be fine, but the Ember Tetra's can be very nippy, I would be more worried about what they're capable of doing to your Betta's fins.

Ah, okay. Are there any smaller shoaling fish you could suggest instead of them? :good:

Boraras briggitae is quite docile and shouldn't nip fins, other members of the Boraras genus would be suitable too.

They may nip your betta, they may not. Only way to find out is to add them - there's every chance they'll be fine together. I've always found endlers to be far more nippy towards other fish than any tetra - all fish are different.

They're really nice! Are they Micro rasboras?

If I did add them and they do nip, I'd have to take them back to the shop, as I'd have no other room. I'd rather find some nice, generally placid fish rather than try my luck!
My endlers swim away whenever Chai swims over, so they're definitely not a danger to him.

Neon green rasboras are very small, might be an option.

They're beautiful too!
I think it'll really settle to which I can find first, but I'll definitely do some research on both species to see which may be better suited to the tank :good:
