Could Anyone Id These Baby Shrimp For Me

Just a guess but I'd say ghost shrimp

ghost-shrimp.jpg

they look similar to my blue tiger babies (when they are the paler blue) cos they haven't got the lump like the ghosts- will get a pic later to compare - just off for nap

im just looking at them now and they have a pinkish look and one of them have shed its skin :)

have a good nap lol

Could be male cherry shrimp (would explain the pinkish colouring you are seeing).

im just hoping there not amano shrimp because ive already got some of those lol and i want somthing different haha

the babies were suppose to be £5.70 each  but he through them in with a bamboo shrimp hehe

I would say they are either snowball shrimp or young cherry shrimp.

The shape of them makes me think they are a Neocaridina species, the price makes me think snowball but the pinkness makes me think male cherry.

Well il have to wait till they grow up abit more then and see haha

And thank you everyone for helping
:good:

:hyper:

id love them to be cherrys as i have never been able to find any at my LFS lol

il get some more pictures up when they have grown more and i shal keep you posted

And thanks again
:D

They look like cherries to me, When i fished some out of my up and over trickle filter they were pale like that, now after being in the tank a few days the red is coming back.

The males are paler and smaller than the females.

whatever they are enjoy!

ooo this is getting exiting haha the bigger one out of the 2 has more red spec like things :D

im really hoping there male and female so i can get more hehe

here is a pic of there little home for now
