Cotton Mouth?

I have a Mono Argenteus with a "growth" just above his mouth. It quite small but very easy to see...I thought it may be "cotton mouth" but it looks kind of different. It is a white"ish" bump, with a slight pink colour in the middle. He is fine otherwise, although has been through the stress of moving recently. Any ideas? By the way he is in a SG of 1.016.

Sounds like columnaris does it look like a greyish colour with the pink spot in the middle, you will need a bacterial med like myxazin and primafix.
