After 3 long weeks of wondering what on earth was bothering my fish, a slime scraping has shown an abundance of costia. I know it's generally easy to treat with salt and the like but here's my problem: the inhabitants. The snails can't stand protozin and the corys can't stand salt. I also have potassium permanganate that has proved useful in the past but it's also used as a method of killing snails which I don't want to do if I can help it. Inhabitants are as follows:

Steve the betta
2 otocinclus
2 panda corys
Many, many pink ramshorns

What can I use to get rid of the costia? I have most treatments in my cupboard so anything you could suggest would be much appreciated. Steve and I thank you :)

I've opted for the protozin but I'm not sure if the stock will be ok with it at full dose. The snails I'll have to risk losing. If I move them out they'll only reinfect the tank once they go back in. The instructions only say not to use it with rays and similar species but no other contradictions. What do you think?

Well, I've read that costia can be cured just like ich, however it is immune to salt. If you have a QT tank, QuickCure will get rid of it in no time. QuickCure will kill your snails, so dont use it on yor main tank. I recommend you should find some medicine with malachite green and formalin, safe for snails, but it might take longer to cure. Hope your fish gets better!
