Thanks to my guppies' intent to overpopulate my tank,I'm now cycling another one so that the boys and girls can have separate bedrooms
My tank is 104 cm long, and my new one is only 75. Because I have so many guppies, I don't want to risk either tank getting overpopulated by buying any more fishs, although I'd like some other fish in eachtank, not just guppies. I currently have 3 pakistani loaches, and 3 bronze cories, the loaches are all abt 6cm, my biggest cory is around 7 cm, and the other two abt 4 - 5 cm. I believe they all have some growing to do!
The only other fish I have are 3 white clouds, they are going to stay put!
I'm going to move either the loaches or the cories into the new tank, but I need to know which will appreciate the longer tank? Or does it really not matter that much!!
Any thoughts appreciated!!

id say loaches need the longer tank myself though im sure your gonna get a pretty much split decision on this  pakistani loaches grow around 5"long far bigger than cories :good:

most common corys grow to around 6 cm
Pakistani (YoYo) Loach - Botia lohachata/almorhae grow to around 10cm

id put the loaches in the bigger tank

Thanks for your advice. I knew that the loaches were slightly bigger than the cories, but the reason I asked was because the cories are the most active and never seem to stop bumbling around, and the loaches spend a lot of their time skulking between the bogwood, ect.
But I suppose bigger tank, bigger fish makes sense, its why I'm putting the male guppies in the shorter tank.
