i have 2 corys and 4 platys in a 10g tank.
i was cleaning the tank to day, and i notice a bunch of baby platy's, which was very surprising. so i only litely vacuum the ground being careful, but then about 2 hours later, i notice my cory upside down. i poke at him, cause i didnt know what was wrong, and he swims off like normal, but then 30 min later, i see him upside down again. he tries to swim off, but his floating is harder for him to control, he struggles more to swim down, where he goes under a rock or something to stop him from floating. i dunno if it has to do with the new babies or something, but this happened all of a sudden, no signs of this before.
i have also noticed a red bubble thing near his behind. its under his skin, but u can still see it. what is it? please help thanks

oh yeah, and my tank water is doing pretty good, i did a water change when i was cleaning it, about a quarter of water, and ammonia and nitrite are currently there, but in very small amounts

i have also noticed that he has like lumps or bubble things on his body, kinda like the one on his butt, he has one there, one on his back, and one on his side
what are these?!

??? emergency please, trying to save my fish

now today he isnt swimming, he is breathing hard and he has red stuff by his mouth. ahhh.. and i cant find what it is at any website. help please

thanks

Oh dear. This is probably one of those internal problems if you see somethin under his skin. Did he look healthy when you got him. I'm sorry to say this but unless someone can find his out he's might die. Do you have a hospital tank? Put him in there. Sorry i don't know much about this.

Unfortunately this is probably a side-effect of being in an un-cycled tank. Doesn't sound good :(

Keep doing those water changes to get the ammonia and nitrite down and keep feeding to a minimum. Other than that, I'm a bit at a loss as to what to suggest.

actually im pretty sure its cycled, and also i think i found out what it was, because i have an african dwarf frog in there too, and it started some disease, and i think it spread to my cory, i removed it earlier today and im treating it to get better...
