tank temp: 26

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): noticed one of my cories has a rather large round belly (looks like he has swallowed a marble) has a dark patch just above that he has had since i got him about a month ago, he is still active (most active out the 4 actually) still eating like a pig, very partial to bloodworm so hoping he is just fat

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 25% and 50% weekly

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: the usual

Tank inhabitants: 2 swordtails, 5 female betta, 2 rams and the 4 cories

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): bettas and some plants added this week, he had the 'lump' before

Exposure to chemicals: no that i know of

Digital photo (include if possible):
best i could get he is actually sitting in a dip

Is the lump beneath the skin or on top of the skin.
Is the lump hard, or soft looking.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
Is he able to maintain balance.
Does he rest to oneside when resting.
Is his anus enlarged, or red and inflamed.
Is his spine bending.

Don't feed bloodworms for a week, as if you over feed them they cause bloating.
Are the bloodworms freeze dried, frozen, live.

It literally looks like he has swallowed a marble, he is going toilet as normal he can keep his balance and sits upright still, looks perfectly healthy otherwise no spinebending or inflaumed areas

feed less, and see what happens ;)

ps, when you say 'the usual' to chemical additives/media above, what do you mean?

dechlorinator for a water change is literally all that goes in the tank, not even anything for the plants

going to try some peas for a bit see if that helps :good:

Is there a lump or just swelling.
As I wondering if there a lump and it's pressing against the swim bladder.

Feed some peas only. No other foods.

it just looks swollen, i missed there feeding yesterday and it seems to have reduced in size a decent amount so think he may just be a greedy little fella, shall give them peas next week just incase

Thanks for the update.
Keep a look out for when the fish goes to the toilet also.
Good Luck.
