yesterday i had 7 little cory eggs hatch.they were swimming around the fry trap happily last night some were fine first thing this morning.later this morning they stopped moving.why? i was told not to feed them for three days after they hatched and this is two days.i changed some of the water out of the trap for fresh stuff.there isnt more than 6 inches of water there.what did i do wrong.
could it be that the temp dropped about 2 degrees in the night? my heater broke and i havent replaced it because its summer and the temp in the tank doesnt drop any more than 2 degrees.it usually stays the same but the odd night it gets cold out so the temp drops slightly.do you think it could be the temp flux.it goes from 80 to 78.

Hi fishrock :)

I'm sorry to hear about your fry. :-(

As a rule, it's not a good idea to keep cory fry in a breeding trap. But, if you give me some more information about your corys and your tank, perhaps I can think of something more specific.

The good news is that you have a pair of corys who will breed for you again. The next time perhaps you will be more successful. I'll be happy to help you if I can. :D
