My 32 Gallon tank has Albino, Bronze and Peppered cories and they breed ( minus the peppered cories) just about every month but today two of my female albino's have laid HUGE amounts of eggs all over the tank... Now The tank is full of egg eating fish ( Spiny eel, A variety of Hillstream loach etc) However what I need to know is how can you tell if the eggs are fertilized and will hatch??

Here's a photo or two of fertilised cory eggs. :D

See how they look next to empty eggshells? They're 'full' looking.

They usually start out light and get darker as they get closer to hatching. :good:
At first some of mine look almost (not quite) white, but they get darker fairly fast. I have even had some hatch that never did get darker.

Most have been damaged by the filter or eaten but some are intact...darn little fish eating all the eggs!!
