I was looking at my tank a few minutes ago when I noticed one of my cory cats was floating on his back. I thought he was dead, but then I realized he was breathing. He was fine yesterday; could this be swim bladder?
My water readings are:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 10
PH: 7.4
Does anyone know what this is?

Hmm what is your nitrite lvl? How long have you had the fish? Usually if it is swim bladder they still try and swim a bit, it just seems like they have no balance. Post back. hope all is well

temp. is 78 degrees F. I don't have a nitrite test kit yet, but I've been looking for one; and my LFS has ordered some. I've had the fish for about four months. I fed him some mashed peas, and he seems to be doing a bit better.

my cory's do goofy things. yesterday one was sleeping in a plant upside down. few mins later took of swimming and looking for food.
