Hi, I'm getting a corner tank that will be 32" x 32" x 20". I'm wondering if there are lights specifically for corner tanks. I'm looking for dual PCs, enough for most of the lower-light corals. I've looked around and haven't seen any but could you just use normal 30 inch or 36 inch lights? I'm afraid it would fall in.

Actually, corner tanks are almoast perfectly suited for metal halide fixtures since they have such a broad footprint. Is hanging it from the cieling an option, or is there a matching hood you could put a halide in?

Hanging from the ceiling isn't an option, I'm not sure about the hood, I guess I'll have to find out.

Definitely find out, corner tanks are just screaming to be lit by MH :hyper:

Yer ski's right otherwise depending the type of corals u wanna keep it can be limited as most tank light fixtures are designed for rectangles.

Another alternative is to suspend the MHs from a couple of wall brackets, if the ceiling or hood options are not viable.

A couple of 'L' shaped steel brackets would do the job just fine! :good:

Yeah like the kind they use to hang those modular shelving type things with the wall tracks
