Soooooo.......stocking.........at the moment, I have a little community in there........Few mollies, lots of platies, Endlers, a BN and four Apple Snails.

We haven't really been happy with the Convicts in our kitchen tank.........so this lot will be moving back out to the Kitchen.

The Convicts will need to be re-homed.

.....which leaves a 55 gallon tank, with a sand substrate........looking for some fish.

.......only problem is finances.........we are skint............at least saving up gives us time to research some fish..........

Would like a school of larger fish........Rainbows, Silver Dollars, Angels.....one of those......with compatible tankmates......

Anybody got a large school of something they need rehoming??

Oh........and anyone want any Convicts......2 mating pairs......plus juves........

Wow!
:kewlpics:
Thats a nice stand/hood!

Thats a beautiful tank :) As for a shoaler, you could put 10 silver dollars in there, i have some in a 33, they are stunning. And angels are an excellent idea, I used to have some, they are so nice, as well as intelligent. All those listed could go with corydoras, and angel could go with some tetras as well (not neons-you'll regret it) but silver dollars tend to be mean. Go with tougher fish for those. With the angels, i would reccomend a pair of rams too.

Except you'd need atleast 100G tank for 10 silver dollars.
You must be mistaken. Silver dollars get 11"+ in length...

Thanks..........still doing research.

Aren't there Silver Dollars........and Silver Dollar Tetras.......and Silver Barbs......?.....haven't got the opportunity to check as I am posting from work....

.........your thoughts apprecaited............

The hood looks way better now mark, great job

I know that you are wanting rainbows, but how about a nice school of BATs (my works £1.95 each, cheaper than the rainbows you want.)
Hyphessobrycon anisitsi?
all pictures of this fish I've seen just don't do them justice, they have a stunning olive green body and fantasticly bright red on the dorasl fin and tailfin, which also has a vivid tellow.
The only draw back is they do like to munch the odd plant or two, vallis seems to be their favourite in my tank.

come on then; how about an update?
