I'm looking for an upgrade for my current tank, I've found quite a few I like to name two, the fluval osaka 155 and the 260. It hit me before that I could be better with a corner tank with rounded front as it would take up the space much better and it will be in a corner!

Anybody have some good suggestions for corner tanks, models or brand names? I'm starting to look for some now, also it has to be black and over 150L and under 300.

Any suggestions will be fab :)

Dont bother, get a normal shaped tank. They are a pain to Sump. Aweful to get good flow in there without blasting everything to bits and really hard to scape well

wish i had gone for a 4x2x2 or 4x3x2 big time now.

Hi Ben, sorry to hear about the bad luck with your tank. I'm not going for a sump with this as I haven't got the slightest clue on them, I already have an idea for a scape using one wall as the main LR area and the other going gradually smaller with a column were there will be enough space for the fish to swim through (hopefully this works). As for flow I only use a Koralia 1 powerhead in my nano, I was planning on purchasing another one of these for one each side, surely they won't be too strong?
Thanks again :)

Also another thing, the trigon 190 is the tank I've settled on so far I've measured it and it fits perfectly into place. Looking at skimmers now and am completely lost  I have the V2 Nano (120 litres) which of course is not big enough for trigon 190 tank I'm looking at. Is it really necessary to get a bigger skimmer? I can only see ones which are much bigger (and much more expensive) 300 litres+
Would the tank be able to cope with the V2 nano? What is likely to happen if I didn't use a bigger skimmer?
Sorry for all the questions!

as long as regular water changes are carried out this skimmer would be fine..know quite a few skimmerless set ups myself and dont run one on my own nano, sorry son's nano,lol...
Might consider a larger korallia but for flow rate, even up to a no 3......depending if keeping softies or lps. Strong flow will be essential if relying on your rock as filtration....
Some additional lighting may also be required rather than the standard juwel rig, again dependant on stock.

Thanks for the advice!
I'll keep the koralia 1 then and get a stronger one for the other side where the majority of LR will be, I usually do 20%ish water change each week so hopefully it will be ok! Buying new equipment is great but it's easy for the £££ signs to start adding up too! I'm upgrading the lighting and need to get myself a small RO unit to save me carting water carriers to the fish store, ooooh the excitement!
