cork back ground

on e-bay there was a tank with cork tiles stuck inside as a back ground. has anyone ever seen this before? i think it would be quite good to do it and cover it in java moss and have a fury gackground of i could just be mad!!

I've heard you can use cork in a tank, but I don't know how safe the tiles would be, what with being factory processed and all. But it sounds like it would look pretty cool. I'm trying to decide on a background for the 55-gallon tank I'll be setting up soon. I really wanted to use something inside the tank, rather than one of those things you tape to the outside of the tank (like I have on the 37-gal in the living room ). I'm going to have to keep up with this thread now...

just thought it would be differant i hate back grounds you tape on the back some don't look so bad but internal ones are definitely better IMO
