Cories? Wtf Are They Doing In My Tank?

Ive just moved the cories from the girls tank to the big boys tank that was divided but the new betta wouldnt settle in. The male in there is having a right old mood! He's like WTF are those doing in my tank!? Having a good old flare at them at the mo, hopefully all will calm down as it took me 20 mins to catch them the first time!

that's funny because my betta was confused when i put my cories in and swam away. he might be a little more timid i suppose.

I've recently moved my Betta from his own bowl back into my community. I had added some Albino Cory's whilst he was away and he kept flaring at them also. He calmed down eventually and everybody seems happy now!

In the last few days mine has decided he really likes to swim around my tetras and generally annoy them xD if they are swimming in a pair or more he swims up form the bottom between them so they split up then he just swims off and looks out the tank. He's all over the place too! never sticks to one area.

Yes he definitely could if he set his mind to it. Armour doesn't protect tails and fins. Of course if the cories are a bit larger then they shouldn't really have anything to worry about.

The only thing I'd reccomend keeping an eye on is if your betta rests on the bottom of the tank at night. Mine does and the corys would find his fins and have a little nibble. Not being mean as such, just doing what corys do. Net result one dead Cory and the rest of the group rehomed.
