I'm looking to get about 5 corey doreys for my tank and I want each one to be a different kind, but I'm concerned that they won't school together which is something I also want them to do. Will they or won't they school?

Thanks,
Dooner

Not sure. Try the catfish forum. You could get 6 of two different types, and if you gte some species where there are lots of different patterns (eg. peppered) or the males and females are completely different ( eg, corydoras undulatus), you should still have several 'different' ones.

IME yes they do mix well together
I have currently
C.Aneus(albino) C.adolfoi and C.matate all in they same tank; they are often forraging together, even the Brochis splendens join them sometimes.

I had a bronze and 3 albinos that went together really well. Didnt fight or anything.
