Coralife Super Skimmer

i got a new coralife super skimmer and im having trouble keeping the micro bubbles out of my tank. ATM its on the display tank and the "Bubble diffuser" they give you doesnt do anything. Anyone have any ideas?

its the Coralife Super Skimmer Needle Wheel up to 125 gallons.

hi i just bought a v2 skim 600 and its exactly the same unit as yours by the look at it same bubble catcher, tubing everything but the colour. i also am having trouble with the bubbles in the tank.

Thats huge I had a tmc v2 skim 400 and got it home and took it straight back I think there not very good as HOB skimmers as there so big good for sumps though. I wuld of gone with a deltec.

its just on the tank as a HOB until i get my bigger tank up and running then it will be in the sump

Is that first shot of the skimmer in operation? Cause that air-water interface is way off...

no its off in the picture, he combination of the somewhat load pump and the bubbles in the tank scare all the fish into hiding so its off most of the time

Next time you're doing a water change, save the stuff you siphon out, and set the skimmer up to run on that for a few days. Let it break in, and then try and tweak it.
