coral gravel

in my new tank i got broken up coral from my LFS. he said it would be fine in a tropical tank, please please say that he was right!! i have rinsed the coral and put it in the tank and the filter has been runner for almost two days now so the water has settled and everything! could someone come back to me please!!

I guess it could be used, but only with african cichlids, though I could be wrong. Coral gravel is made from crushing coral rocks and is used generaly in Marine tanks becuase it will make the Ph in round 8.Which is to high for most tropical fish.

i bloody new it!! that is going to be a nightmare!!

i will need to get a kit to check the levels of water!! hopefully it should be okay!!
i need to check the levels before i do anything!! i want be happy!! ph level should be 7 yeah?

test the pH of your tapwater after it has stood in a shallow dish for 24 horus and compare it to the water in your tank.
