Ever since I first started fish keeping ive never been able to keep snails, shrimp ,etc. They would all die in a matter of days and after doing some reading I believe copper might be the issue. My house is about 5 years old and im 99.99% sure we have copper pipes. For my new tank ive been using Aquasafe (before I simply let the water sit out for a week before using it)and was wondering if it neutralizes copper so I might be able to get some for my tank. Also if I would be able to how would ghost shrimp fair with a rubber lip pleco and some zebra danios.

I dont know about copper but I know that Prime neutralizes other metals and such.... get yourself some carbon and stick it in the filter that may help...
As for ghost shrimp,,, in my experience almost all fish see them as a snack even if they dont fit in their mouths. I regularly buy ghost shrimp to feed some of my fish(4 dozen a week) ... and even though I buy them for my cats, bichirs, and angels... my rams seem to go after them/ kill them/ and pick at them until something bigger just gulps it up........

EDIT::: SP SP SP SPELLING
