Well I was thinking I could make a little cage type thing to put some java moss in and let it grow to cover it kinda thing, and I was looking around for what to make it from, and I came across some copper wire.

Would this be bad to put in my tank?

Potentially so as copper is deadly to inverts so no snails and it might be bad for the water condition as well. I'm not sure how much damage copper wire could do but there are alternatives like zinc you could use instead.

hmm, I'm jsut trying to make something so my soon to be fry have a chance this time, and the LSF only had a tiny bit of javamoss

buy the moss and build the thing later, use a string and burn the ends so they dont split up
I have teh moss, but its nothing, no way anything could hide in it.
I was going to use teh wire to make a cage so the other fish couldnt get in too.

You could use plastic netting like the stuff you get oranges in?

EDIT: Or womens tights with an open mesh :)
