Is there any way to test for copper in water?
I've been running a 20G for a few weeks now, the water reads as follows:
PH: 7.4
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5ppm
temp: 74F
the fish in it are fine, but sunday I picked up some 3 p. bridgesii. They seemed alright, but by the time I got home from work yesterday, all 3 were dead. The only thing I can think of is that there's some copper or something in the water? The house is about 100 years old and has copper plumbing. I can't really think of what else it could be.
