The other day i bought 2 armoured shrimp for my 50gal+ tank after doing some research on them saying they were peaceful fish and did well in community tanks...They are doing very well and feeding almost 24/7 but i read that some fish meds contain copper amoungst other things which is lethal to shrimp.
None of the fish in the tank are ill at the mo but because i primarily use Interpet brand meds when they do get ill, i tried to find what the meds contain and couldn't find the any listed contents of what they are made of.
I don't want to medictae my fish in the future and lose my shrimp so i was wondering wether any of you guys know what meds are safe to use with shrimp, particualy interpet ones?
ps: sorry mods i know this is not in the right section but i was hoping i can get more replys here  .

Hi, I used Interpet No 9 about four weeks ago. I have a Pleco so I asked lfs if it was ok. They did not know, which is fair enough. I phoned Interpet and they asked one of their scientists and he said it would not harm the Pleco. And it didn't! Hope that helps. I followed the instructions and removed the carbon sponge in the filter and put it back when it was all done. :) I don't know about shrimp as I specified Pleco.
