So I have a MAJOR infesation of theese little bliters or something similar.
I have no fish in my tank... just loads of plants and I mean I have loads.. blowing in the water on the plants on the glass.
at first glance it looks like a mass of Diatoms on my plants lol.....

any idea how I can cull theese things...
Im going to suck aload out with a small tube for an air pump for food (not for me obviously  )

annyone got experience with this?

Why don't you just add some small fish?

The only way to get rid of them otherwise would be to add something like copper to the water, but I can't imagine that being great for your plants or filter bacteria. As long as water conditions are good and there's nothing to eat them, they will find enough food in most tanks (especially planted tanks) and just keep multiplying.

I'd just add fish, or maybe even some other small predatory crustacean - go pond dipping :D.
