Coolie Loach Problem..... Please Help

I have a tank and several fish no problems. Its a 9 Gal with 2 Catfish (albino) and 4 Guppys. The tank has been established for ages. They have loadsa hiding places, bushy plants they lie in etc

I bought a few Coolie loaches and they are just dieing one after the other. I tried this a while back and the same thing happened.

Whats going wrong.

I love Coolie Loaches and really want to keep them but not iof they are going to keep dieing

what are you water stats? eg temp, ammonia, nitrIte, nitrAte, PH etc?

For a start a 9gal tank is not very big and you are overtsocked, need to look at your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.

How is 4 guppies and 2 catfish overstocked

I dont know my waterstats. Must be ok though as all the other fish are fine

It was with the loaches in, i would look at your water quality first, and what was the ph of the store to your tank.

What are you using for substrate? Sand, rock?

Check your ammonia and nitrite.
