The diamond one is tacky if you ask me.. I do like the Biube one though. Very futuristic 8)

I'm sorry Toxis, but that Aboriginal tank is an insult and very, very racist.
I am of Aboriginal heritage and this sort of thing is not good. Not having a go at you, you wouldn't know much of the story. It has images on it that have been considered for a very long time as white man's impressions of the aboriginal race in very racist times. Not to mention it is claiming traditional tribal names, but isn't actually using traditional colours or traditional images. The images that are found in traditional aboriginal paintings directly correlate to animals/fauna of their traditional lands, and the paint used traditionally is of ochre - ranging from yellow, reds, browns and black. The animals they are using don't seem authentic, (they lived on seafood and fruit YUM) although they might be as they were a tribe who initially lived in sydney city, and one of the most devestated tribes in Australia (first contact - alot of death related to starvation because first settlers/invaders ate everything, loss of traditional knowledge...still surviving as a group but very dynamically changed.)
I believe the "artist" they are claiming to painted it is otherwise known as Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood).
Thanks for pointing it out though. It is actually illegal to sell aboriginal art without correct licensing, or to parade something to be aboriginal art when it is clearly not is also an offence. Naughty, Naughty!!!!
I might just report it.

Xanthianacid.

Maybe he didn't know that? I know I didn't.

You should report it if it means that much to you! :)

Thats why I explained, and later in the post added that I doubted if she knew. I also stated I wasn't having a go at her, I was merely pointing out my POV. It was meant more to be informative, and I don't think it was insulting at all.

I will report it. :p This sort of thing needs to be eliminated. As our world becomes more 'globalised' alot of misinformation still leaks into mainstream and warps the views of others. I'm sure this type of thing goes on in every country who has an minority group of indiginous peoples. The more people who have a clue about the truth of these peoples situations the better.

Finally, this is not personally against any particular person, but it is a good opportunity to "tell it how it is" to some degree so more people get more quality information. The better the info the better understanding people can have in our global community.

I didn't say it was insulting...sorry if what I said gave you that impression. I was just pointing something out.

Where did you say that? Sorry, but I can't find it.
