I am sure you are aware of how aggressive pirahna's get...I'm assumeing the pirahna's are still fairly young or the topic would be my pirahnas ate my convits. They are probably the worst tank mates that you could put together? If you care about you cons then i would suggest removing them or getting them another tank.

Piranhas are obviously very aggressive. In the wild they are known to eat the fins of other fish (even other piranhas!). Its easier for them to rip some of the fin off then it would be to chase down their prey and kill it. They are really not community fish, no matter what size tank you plan on keeping them in. Convicts aren't exactly the greatest community fish themselves though. Both species are best kept in species tanks!

thanks for ur help , the only other tank I have is a ten gal with a 4 inch gold pirahna in it and so far the pirahnas havent bit the convicts for a few days and the cons swim freely :D

PS the pirahnas are fairly yung about 1 inch
