Convicts

Hi guys.
Im desperatly looking for some convicts (fry or grown).
Im in colchester, essex and cant get them anywere.
Could anyone point me in the direction of an online site or somebody that has some fry?

Im suprised you cant find any. Might be worth asking around on here and at your lfs. If not theres normally stupid amounts for sale on ebay where people have got overrun or maybe check aquarium classified. Any reason why you want Convicts? I think Honduras red points or T Bar cichlids are a lot better looking but in the same family so have a similar look.

I'm nearish you in Sudbury. I have found Cats Rats & Elephants on A12 near ipswich are very helpful as are Kesgrave Aquatics which is otherside of Ipswich. Don't think either have convicts in, but both have quite a decent stock of fish, although mostly common types.

What decent LFS are there in colchester? I've been to seapets but the experience was a bit meh (Although bought my Roma 240 from them which was a good deal!)

Convicts are so common that they are becoming rare if that makes sense, shops don't order them in because they are so common.

Shame you weren't a bit nearer to me - I have a spare batch of 10 fry (obviously there were hundreds originally but these 10 are the survivors that didn't get eaten off by the others) that are about a month old now. Mine are short bodied pink convicts btw. Have just transferred some over to a separate fry tank.

If you fancy a drive over to Herne Bay in Kent for some, let me know!

My LFS took a mated adult pair off my hands recently and asked if I could get them any more as they rarely see these SBPCs.

Yeah, I'm with you - I think convicts are fab!
