Is a 30 gallon to small for one male and one female convict?

I know they will breed like crazy but my fish store is great, they are clean and take good care of their fish so they will take my babies. I just don't want them to be overcrowded so if it won't work I will just get a male.

I will post pictures when I get him today.

30 gallons should be fine for a pair of cons.
