Convicts and Jewels?

Could you put a convict and an jewel in the same tank? being that ones south american and ones african?

Yes you can, because jewels have the same water conditions as new world cichlids, the only real problem you will find is that both this cichlids are agressive and the might tend to fight alot and they both are very easy to breed but if you have a large enough tank with alot of hiding spots for them both then you shouldnt have a prblem. I to have jewels and convicts in the same tank.
