Convict or Firemouth

In my 30 Gallon tank i have 2 Pictus Cats, 1 Pleco, and 1 Convict. When i first put the cats in the convict picked on them for a while but now leaves them alone. Same thing with the pleco. Now i am lookin to get 1 more cichlid for the tank. I cannot decide between another convict or a firemouth. My convict is a full groen male, the 2 pictus cats are about 4 inches and the pleco is about 6.

well.. i have convicts and firemouths together... i have 2 dominant male convicts, 1 reccessive male, and 1 reccessive female.. and 2 i donno sex firemouths..

its odd how they dont fight... they kinda have respect for each other i think..

the 2 dominant males sometimes clash but never hurt each other... and they never touch the firemouths... i think its funny.. they dont even pick on the reccessive cons either... but thats just in my case... firemouths arent supposed to be aggressive... and ppl told me cons would most likely kill them.. but ive noticed different..... maybe breed the cons ? prob make them more aggressive and a less safe place for your pleco and cats.. im sorry i donno what to say lol

Do you know of a place in Belleville that sells rare plecos. I had someone tell me of a place on Plecofanatics but I lost it. I appreciate any info you can give me. I live in Hillsborough. Thank you.

I would get a couple of convicts and let them do there thing...or get a male con and a male Firemouth because they readily pair up...my mate has a pair that produce Firecons regularly.
