My Convict has got an Oto lodged in its throat. Could it be life threatening?

This is a very silly question... Of course it could be life threatening!

Is the Otto dead, or still alive?

Seriously though, I would personally take him out, hold him and pull the fish out of his mouth, I think thats the best bet...
