Hi all,
I have had this convict for a while first it was on its own, and was sort of a pinky colour, then when i put some others in the tank it got its colours back, but i cant seem to tell whether or not its male or female. In the old tank (22inches x 22 Inches) my male would chase this away, but in the new (larger tank 4ft) they seem to have paired off but i see no evidence of any sort of mating behaviour. They have taken for themselves the far en of the tank around a diving helmet ornament.

This particular one is the convict i have had the longest, my male i brought much later on but it has grown quicker and developed the bulge on its head... but im just confused how do i get them to breed if this is female... im so confused

i cant seem to post the pictures help!!!

well, its a female if the pinkish color is around its belly.

Hey everyone,

Its ok they hatched some eggs, i have over a hundred fry, jus worried my oscar or acaras might get at them.
