I was trying to breed two jack dempseys for a few months but the male ended up killing the female a few days ago. This was my first time trying to breed fish and was very unsuccessful so ive decided im going to get some convicts because i heard they were very easy to breed. Has anyone any advice/experience breeding them?

Convicts are very easy to breed; they just get on with it; male + female + water = hundreds of convicts.

Have you thought about what you're going to do with them? Most LFS won't take them and there's not a very good market for 5" aggressive cichlids, tbh :/

Perfect :D

I have a friend that said he'll take most of the first fry. Not sure what ill do after that :/
