Converting Over From Tropical To Marine

Hi guys been thinking of turning my tank over. I been told I can do this can anyone give me advice on best ways of doing this.

Also what skimmer would be good for a juewl rio 125 litre.

Looking at the Marine fish at my local shop and have so fell in love with them but i want to do this correct and I dont want to harm the fish either.

My best advice is to do a few things. First, read through the stickies atop the Marine Chit Chat section, lots of good info there.

Second, have a look at your LFS and through really big online retailers like liveaquaria.com or saltwaterfish.com to decide what livestock catch your eye.

Third, once you've browsed those two things, try and figure out if you want to go with a Fish Only (FO), Fish Only With Live Rock (FOWLR), or a Reef tank with inverts/corals. This choice will really determine the complexity and setup of your hardware

Then, once you do those three things, come on back and ask some more direct questions . Its tough for us to reccomend what to do since there are more options than I even care to think about in the marine world .
