Constpation???

My female Scarlett badis, has been fattening up for about a week, I thought she may just be filling with eggs. But she now gone very quiet and starting to pine cone. she keeping her swiming level witch makes me think it not Dropsy.

Do I remeber correctly that is pea's that help with constipation, if so how caqn I make shore she gets one. I have a beeding net, (although I hate using them.) I could put her in there over night.

What you guys think??

if the scales are starting to stand out then its dropsy whether or not she loses her balance. a lot of fish can still stay active with this disease. as its a bacterial disease you will need to treat the whole tank with an anti internal bacterial med. theres really nothing much else you can do for her but keep the water pristine, sorry.

Yes as black angel said it's dropsy,the last stage of dropsy is the pineconing of the scales,nothing to be done now as the desease is to far gone now, issolate the fish and just do some water changes on the tank, sorry.

Ok thanks guys, was hoping for better news but hay poo happens.

Should I euthinas her, as I ashume she would be suffering , and with no chance of getting better, I would beleave that be the best thing to do??
