Cons Vs Pleco?

if i put my 9.5" pleco with my breeding pair of cons, will that be ok for the time being?

What tank size? It's possible they might leave it alone, but there's a good chance they wont. If you were to try it, I'd keep a very close eye on the tank and be ready with a net in case they decide they dont want any friends in there

Yes, I agree.
I suspect the Cons will have a go at the plec. There isnt much that they wont go at! Little devils hehehe.

I agree that the cons will go at the plec but depending on how tough your plec is it might be ok if it stays out of the way. I personally wouldn't risk it but if you have nothing else then I would say its worth a try

My convicts killed a few plecos in their days.. I would keep a very close eye on them..

well i went with ur advise, but it seems the other way this time the pleco attacked my male convict.

Plecos can be aggressive too so not too suprising, the con prob just hasn't realized hwo to throw its weight around yet. Once it realizes that the pleco isn't a big mean monster then i'm sure it will start "investigating" the pleco much closer
