Cons Of Water Clearing Agents

i have accu-clear , sparking clear, and those desolving tablets.. never used them before..
was just wondering what harm they do to the water, filter , filter bacteria , fishes.
i mean would i be dependent on it after first use?
i am a newb to the hobbie does everyone with crystal clear tank without a uv sterilizer use it?

Is your tank cycled yet? What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? Most likely what youare seeing is a bacterial bloom. It will clear on it's own. Very few members use chemicals to correct water issues. It's much better to find the problem and solve it than to use quick fix remedies such as the ones you have mentioned. I did use a UV Sterilizer after I cycled to get rid of a green water problem but even that will eventually clear on it's own.
