would oscars an cons get along well???

they would about 2 inches in a 15 gallon
an i no loads of peeps are gona say they get to big for that tank but in gettin a new big tank for christmas

anyway if u can tell me if they would b ok id b very happy

Convicts and Oscars make the best tank mates so yes it would work, but in 15g it wouldnt work because its not about the size of the fish its the Territory , convicts will mark there part of the tank right away were as oscars will when they hit about 5" or so.

Picture this right, the convict will face upto the oscar and the oscar will just kill it by taking a snap at him due to there large mouths and in 15g's there isnt really anywhere for them to hide. What i would do it hold off on the oscars because you would have to do 30% water changes everyday and that would be a hassle as well so why not just buy 2 Convicts and thats it untill you get a larger tank.

Belive me, from my experience the last thing you want to happen is for these fish to claim there part of the tank.

oscars grow around 14 inches right? you need a tank with a 16 inch width at least for comfortable turning room not to mention heavy duty filtration. cons are cool
