So my blood red molly gave birth this morning and I offically have about 200 grandfishy's in total now..LOL..(dont worry they have homes waiting for them )

The interesting thing is this new batch of fry has given me one set of conjoined twins.. Its quite amazing to see them swim around the breeding box.. I dont know how long they will live but I sure found it interesting.. I got everything crossed that they make it.. They will be a beautiful addition to my tank..

:good:

Wow 200!!! Also it would be great if you could get a pic of the joined ones. =) Good luck and have fun

They are joined at the stomach. They are both swimming around together but are not very stable swimmers yet. I do hope that they live but I assumed the chances were small.. sigh..

I am not sure if I could get a picture of them as they are soooo tiny and still in the breeder trap with the rest of thier siblings. I have to send some of the other babies to thier new homes before I can put these little ones in the nursery tank.. I will see if I can seperate them(from the others not each other..LOL) to get a good clear shot.. Wish me luck!!

wow i have never seen this,i have seen conjioned snakes, pigs, cats never fish, congrads hey if you can let this fry grow up,to aduilt size that would be quite the fish,Though i dont seeing it being able to live long but every day can you update us on its status

I am sorry to say that my twins died last night.. I decided not to take the picture due to the death.. I find it rather creepy and a little sad as I was hoping they would live.. :(

My babies are all doing well otherwise.. I have them everywhere and woke this morning to find yet more babies in my main tank! I am not sure what they are yet but I have a feeling these new ones are also molly babies.. Time will tell I am sure..

I will try and get a nice clear shot of my babies and post them.. they are soo cute.. 10 have already been sent to thier new homes today :)
