O.K go to lfs and spot two creatures, both i fall in love with  Congo frogs+ yamato shrimp

Would one frog or one shrimp or both be sutible in this tank?

50 litre
Oversized bio filter
Planted tank
1 small molly
1 pakistan loach
2 cardinal tetras
4 platties
3 danios

Be honest, as our l.f.s isn't the best as they have been knowen to be a liability
p.s sorry spelling :*)

Are the fish listed the current occupants? It sounds like it, I'd sort out the problems with it at the moment before you add anything else. The tank is 13 gallons, so I'd say a bit small for danios as they are so massively active, tetras need to be in groups of 6+, and I'd say the loach isn't a good occupant. I've found conflicting info, one page says it gets to between 6 and 8 inches, another says 4, but its still a bit big for your tank, a few sites say they are aggressive, but they seem to need to be in groups of 3+. What sex are the platys?

Yes they are the current uses of the tank, pakistan loaches grow 5 cm and I have had these fish for a year with no probs. I considerd keeping the danios in one of my 150 litre tanks but they seemed fine. As for the sex of the plattys they are all female i think ????

You have too many fish for a 10gal(?) tank, danios need to be in at least a 15gallon minimum and tetras need to be in groups of at least 6. Congo frogs only take live or frozen food and as far as i know they stay small at 2inchs but do not compete well for food with fish and need somwhere to rest on slightly out of the water so they don't have to remain swimming all the time- i don't see the frog being able to compete for food with your current socking. Yamato shrimp grow to 2inchs but are very sensitive to water quality and prefer the cooler tropical temps.

My lfs recently had in some pakistani loaches that were around 7 inches so you can count on them getting bigger than 5 cm.

The ones i had were really aggressive too.
