Confusion Over Gbr Behaviour

i think i have two males as they fight every now and then and one seems to chase the other around. but as i said im unsure of the sex. recently they have took up one corner of the tank and are digging holes in the sand. from looking for info on the sex of these fish it seems the females have a purple belly, is this always the case cos mine dont seem to?? any advice would be great.

I was in the same predicament, not sure about my GBR`s but after having got 2 little females last week the info from the other members was more spot on than I realised......the females have a much pinker belly area. My males had a pale pink colouring but I still wasn`t sure....until I got my females!! They`re unmistakably pinker"
