Confused What To Buy

Hello Everyone - I have a set up of a 30 gallon aquarium with lots of rocks but still no fish i am confused what type of cichlids to buy since i am new to cichlids and + that i live in Malta (Europe) and few are the people that know about malawi so i would like to know what should i buy and how much fish should i buy for my 30 gallons aquarium .

For a 30 gallon tank, i'd reccommend going for some of the less agressive Mbuna like Yellow labs and Pseudotropheus Acei or Saulosi. 3 or 4 fish from 2 of these species should work well. Alternatively look up some species you like on the Internet and post your favourites here for some advice on compatibility etc, just avoid the more agressive Mbuna.

Don't worry about your english, it's better than some people i know that live in england

It's a Pseudotropheus Demasoni, stunning fish but sadly one of the most aggressive Mbuna there is. Not a good choice for your 30 gallon unless you go for about 8 of them with only 1 male and no other fish in the tank.
