Conditioning, Which Way Though?

I am getting my female soon,, and i want to know which way shoul di use to condition her for breeding. out of all the times i've bred, ive used the method that i condition the female in the tank with the male, and then when they're ready, i let them go. but there is another way, the way is you seperatly condition them, wich way should i do it though? comments appreciated.

i think separate conditioning is best, that way the male doesn't get used to having her around. If they never see each other, then he knows she is only there to service his need to be a daddy

I haven't actually bred bettas, yet. Everything I have read indicates that if the male and female get used to each other, then they do't have the urge to get freaky, whereas a female he doesn't know, he is more apt to be impressed.

haha thnx, i like colors that truly rep a salamander, like a true purple on the body, a nice white outline on the fins, stuff like that.

lol well Ttbetta for me is a trusted buyer, i bought a fish from him like 3 times. all very nice
