I'm starting to condition my HM/CT pair and I've just got my hands on - literally - about three thousand mosquito wrigglers. Roadside ditch. Constant supply. Is there anything wrong with absolutely stuffing the bettas with those and using them as the sole conditioning food or do I need to vary it a bit?

No, it's great stuff but with 3k of then you may get them starting to hatch, and biteing before you feed them all!!!!
I would feed some to the other fish as well!!!

my guys absolutely love them but dont feed too many at once

if possible keep them in a bucket outside that way if they grow up they wont come bite you!

LOL keep them in a fridge ;) my misses loves it to find them in their!!!!

I had a heap in the fridge but they unfortunately died and went rotten before I could use them all. This time I'm freezing whatever I can't use. I've probably saved myself at least $10 in bloodworm just with today's work and it was only half an hour to haul in that many! It's also good because I've got some wild caught gudgeons which I've had trouble weaning onto dead food - they have taken some bloodworm, but reluctantly, so it's good to see them eating something willingly.

I've got more than enough for everybody though, my fish all love me tonight!
