Hey do you think that those condensation strips you use at the bottom of windows to stop the water ruining the wooden frames would be fish safe?

None of you wise people got any ideas on this?

Hmm... To be honest I have no idea if they are fish proof or not. I suppose there is only one way to find out but it's risky isn't it?!

Sorry that wasn't much help was it!!

Mmm, lol, I am thinking to be on the safe side, strips of filter wool secured with aquarium sealant :D

I would suspect that something like that would have anti-mildew/anti-mold chemicals added to it, and hence would not be fish-safe. What exactly are you trying to do?

Well as per my previous post I'm not going to use condensation strips and will use fish safe alternative products. I have a slant to some lids that always makes water run down the back onto the back of the tank/electricals when I lift the lid to feed the fish so I want something that's going to soak it up as I do that.
