hi all,

I've had my betta since summer and he has been doing great.

But what concerns me now, is it seems he has not pooped for a couple weeks, unless I am missing something.

His poops are normally big, way bigger than previous bettas I have had.

So I am wondering what could be wrong?

I gave him a pea the other day, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

Any suggestions please?

I should add.....he is acting fine, does not seem sick.

Hmm...this is a long shot but...internal parasites - makes his poo decompose rapidly? DON"T PANIC...i could be totally WRONG lol.

It could be that you're not looking hard enough for the poo!

Has he bloated up.
It can also mean organ failure when they don't go to the toilet, but you would normally notice swelling.
Any red streaking in the fins.

thanks all....

no, he seems fine, not bloated either

its just in the past he has huge poops, unlike my previous bettas

anyway, hopefully he is fine

He's not fine if he's not going to the toilet.
I had this happen with a fancy goldfish.
All You can do is try some peas and daphnia.

what is daphnia? I have not heard of it. thanks....
