Concerned I Will Waste Money On The Wrong Plants

I have looked into what plants best suit low level light and are easy to keep, now I know I can look on line at pics, but by the time I get to the fish shop I wont remember what they look like, and with so many shops selling no aquatic plants as aquatic I don’t want to waste money on something that will just die.I know I could buy on line, but I like to be able to see the plants to be able to work out what will look best

So.. what is the question? Have you considered writing down a list of the plants you think you will like and taking that with you to the shop? Even in shops most pots normally have labels with the scientific name for the plant on them.

Take someone more experienced with you? Buy a book of Aquarium Plants online and take that?

Or buy plastic plants if you're REALLY worried about them dying. Then, when you get a bit more confident and do a bit more research, you can replace/supplement your plastic plants with real ones.

I have a list which I will take with me, but I know all the shops I have visited don’t have their plants labelled. So I guess I will just have to trust they sell me what I ask for, so many shops are just out to make money I done trust them, they will sell you anything.

I don’t want plastic that’s why I want to go down the planted line

i would buy my plants online from a reccomended supplier , im to tight to buy a book so i downloaded one lol and spent the money i would of spent on book on more plants .
